This position in our busy NICU area, provides screening, evaluation, diagnostic testing, follow up and rehabilitation services for NICU patients.
Services provided by our inpatient speech language pathologists include swallow assessments, MBS, speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and fluency assessments using informal and formal standardized assessment tools in addition to development and execution of specialized treatment programs. SLPs collaborate with physicians, nursing, and other members of the multidisciplinary team to facilitate coordinated care of our patients and to provide education in their area of expertise to staff, patients, and caregivers.
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited university program. Current AZ license and BLS certification. Certificate of Clinical Competence and previous NICU/Pediatric experience. Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare providers. Strong interpersonal communications and human relation skills.
