The Clinical Nursing Supervisor at the Women's Center works under the direction and leadership of the Administrative Director for Women's Services and the Clinical Director at the Women's Center and will provide clinical and operational support to the NICU department, also known as NICU unit.
Provides Clinical/Operational resources to the Clinical Nurse Leaders, Charge Nurses and Staff. Assists in Focal Review processes, Assists in KRONOS and Payroll preparation activities, Assists in Quality initiatives, (may include collection and facilitation of clinical and competency related audits). Proactively engaged in Patient/Staff and Physician Satisfaction outcomes.
The Clinical Supervisor functions with a primary concern for patient care. Continuously provides expertise to the staff by assessing the quality and quantity of care and evaluating and intervening in the management of care problems as necessary. The Clinical Supervisor oversees the facilities operations in the absence of directors or administration; and, collaborates with them on an as needed basis.
Minimum of Associate's Degree in Nursing, Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred.
Two (2) years of experience in specialty area required.
One (1) year in supervisory or CNL capacity preferred.
Interview others; Team facilitation & meeting skills with effective conflict resolution skills.
Required: Current Arizona RN license or compact state license and BLS.
