Provides oversight for multiple hospital departments in the absence of unit management. Addresses patient care, staffing, and any other issues that may arise. Supervises nurses and staff and takes administrative responsibilities. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Education: Minimum of Associate's Degree in Nursing, Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred.
Experience: Two (2) years of experience in specialty area required. One (1) year in supervisory or CNL capacity preferred.
Skills: Interview others; Team facilitation & meeting skills with effective conflict resolution skills.
Licenses/Certifications: Required: Current Arizona RN license or compact state RN license and American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification.
