Provides office support to the Wound Center at Imperial Pointe. Responsible for the clerical operation of the department including answering phones, scheduling, patient data input, customer service, charge reconciliation, and any other tasks assigned in order to support the Wound Care Center patients, physicians, and associates. Responsible for coordination of the wound care center front office processes to ensure work flow. Must have experience in computer skills, must be able to type 35 words per minute and have basic math skills. Visual acuity and perceptive mental abilities are necessary. Decision making skills are needed to order supplies, schedule appointments and complete projects for the Wound Center at Imperial Pointe. External customers include the patients, their families, the physician's and their staff, sales representatives and other health care professionals. Our internal customers are the patients and their families and other hospital staff. The consequence of errors could possibly be insufficient supplies, insufficient staffing, improper billing and loss of revenue. This position will also be privileged to confidential information.
High School Diploma preferred
Knowledge of computers and general office equipment. Good organizational skills. Must be able to communicate well , have excellent interpersonal skills, work with many interruptions. One year of office or clerical experience. Experience in medical office management highly recommended
