Job Summary The Practice Initiative Specialist will assist in developing the strategy and tactics to foster improved outcomes for the organization with physician/provider members and their practices and patients. In addition, the Practice Initiative Analyst will assist with the analysis and reporting on data from sources and build extracts and reports to present information to organizational executives and member practices in a user-friendly and meaningful format.
Reviews and assesses Risk Adjusted Factor (RAF) Score current state and identify opportunities for improvement across all Medicare Advantage Contracts.
Monitors, reviews, analyzes and resolves Enterprise Master Patient Index (EMPI) patient duplicate identifiers - Medical record numbers (MRNs) duplicates and other issues.
Assists in the coordination and management of the practice initiatives calendar, and work with internal teams to plan and implement the initiative activities.
Assists in the development of organization's RAF strategy and develop specific tactics for successful implementation of RAF strategy to improve RAF scores working closely with Practice Initiative Manager.
Assists in the development of education and communication content as appropriate.
Participates as an active member in project initiatives related to the department.
Provides substantial input into development and implementation of project plans.
Serves as a resource on RAF data and metrics for these initiatives.
Interacts and works collaboratively to integrate, coordinate, and manage data integrity and reporting out of multiple systems.
Communicates and collaborates with other departments in managing day-to-day aspects of projects, identifying resources needed, and choosing the most efficient method of data extraction and analysis.
Acts in an advisory capacity with billing-coding staff at practices to recommend coding and compliance updates and opportunities.
Communicates and interacts with internal and external partners on resolution of duplicate patient identifiers.
