Henderson Hospital Henderson Hospital is a member of The Valley Health System, a network of six acute care hospitals that provide care for patients throughout Southern Nevada and nearby communities. Located in the suburb of Henderson, the 120-bed hospital, which opened in 2016, offers emergency care, surgical services, including an ambulatory surgery center, cardiovascular care, women's health and maternity services. A level II neonatal intensive care unit is slated to open by late 2017.
Responsible for the proper cleaning of and sanitizing of all kitchen ware and utensils.
Essential Job Duties:
Performs responsibilities consistent with hospital safety policies.
Knowledge in proper cleaning and sanitizing procedures.
Cleans and sanitizes silverware, plates, trays, soup bowls, mugs, tops and underliners.
Cleans and sanitize cafeteria belt and dish machine.
Cleans pots, pans and all kitchen utensils.
Stack underliners and lids on cart for trayline.
Stock and properly store all cleaned items.
Work trayline as assigned.
Pull patient meal carts.
Responsible for all side cleaning and tools assigned.
Work alone in restricted area performing repetitive work for extended period of time.
Clean all work surfaces including walls and ceiling.
Follow proper drying procedures.
Properly dispense of kitchen slop.
Perform all side cleaning assignments.
Knowledge of proper food preparation, storage and handling.

Must be able to exert self-control in hostile situations when verbally or physically confronted in a threatening or aggressive manner.
