Organizes, prepares, advertises and oversees activities that take place during their working hours and will coordinate some activities not taking place during work hours. These activities involve Cottage activities, activities with elementary and middle school students. From 10 - 3 the Activity Coordinator (AC) will be working with students that may need prescribed time by the treatment team to participate in structured activities. From 3-7 the AC will continue to work on structured activities and the cottage activities. AC will be able to design activities that will specifically lead up to an overall larger activity (i.e. triathlon, Spartan, 5 K, Flag football, Kick ball Tournament, Design Competition, displaying art work on the cottage in the frames, etc.). AC will work closely with the treatment team, Recreation Therapist, Art teacher, and Shift Managers. AC will attend SET as much as possible so as to understand the individual needs of each student. It will also be helpful for the AC to communicate with the PE teacher about activities. During RT activities on campus the AC may assist with the activity.
