Performs specialized technical duties related to the support of local area network, wide area networks and the equipment supporting connectivity throughout the organization and connectivity from facilities to the corporate office/Siemens Data Center. Responsible for overall maintenance and support of network and telecom equipment and components such as but not limited to;Â VPN access, remote access, wireless bridges and antennas, routers, switches, circuits, wiring closets, fiber cabling, racks, power units, etc. Position is responsible for the resolution of connectivity, configuration, security issues and providing a specialized level of technical support to the Help Desk staff. The STHS network is part of an extensive networking backbone, this position is responsible for the knowledge associated with a large variety of networking technologies. Position understands advance concepts of logical network structure and utilizes knowledge in the delivery of network solutions. This position provides these services while maintaining the highest level of customer service and commitment to the Service Excellence Program.
