Job Summary The Information Security Architect will work with the AVP CISO in the execution of security strategic initiatives. The Information Security Architect's primary responsibility will include working with the security operations and access management teams to evaluate security components of the network, applications and End-User devices. The Information Security Architect will provide expert guidance and security oversight for projects, and technical architecture. Ensures communication and escalation of security activities to leadership, manages the integration/implementation of security projects/requests. Leads tracking/measuring of results with respect to security roadmaps, security plans, security portion of a vendor selection, and security-related project task execution. Works with CISO to define security standards, procedures, operational activities, and technical architecture. Leads team of engineers that perform similar functions. This position has high-level oversight and responsibility for the company security architecture.
This position functions by defining standard operating procedures and delivery of security certification, integration and automation activities, identifies and manages assigned security related issues. Works with management to establish and track security objectives, works with the Chief Information Security Officer Management staff, the IT architecture team and other teams to ensure compliance to security standards and policies.
Aligns all activities with the Information Security Program.
Works with other departments to assist in engineering and or provide technical integration of security solution and monitoring systems. Ensures new systems meet security standards and comply with policy.
Studies and remains current on the relevant hardware, software and technology in all information security domains
Works with the departments to assure that their operational requirements are being met.
Performs other duties as assigned.
