Switchboard Operator/PBX
This position is PRN (per diem, as needed basis) requires open flexibility to include - Nights/Holidays and Weekend shifts
Operates switchboard console and routes calls to the appropriate person or location. Performs multiple tasks related to business office operations. Responsible for contacting on-call staff for administration, bio-med, cath lab, clergy, dialysis, EEG, echo, GI lab, IS, and plant ops. Responsible for monitoring all fire and gas alarms, generators, blood bank alarms, Women's Center fire alarm and panic alarms. Responsible for all code alarms (Codes Blue, Red, White, Silver, Pink, and Grey, RST, Bat Activation, and Disaster Procedures. Operates public address system, auto-call, or other systems of bells or Ascom phones to call hospital employees and physicians.
