Position is part time 24 hours weekly working in the Behavioral Health dept at Oro Valley Hospital
The Behavioral Health Unit plans, directs, participates in and provides quality patient care for patients. This 17-bed specialty unit is for voluntary patients only.
To direct and manage an effective clinical service delivery system using applicable principles of Social Work including patient psychosocial assessment, group and individual psychotherapy, family intervention, patient/family education and treatment planning. Monitors and evaluates the quality and appropriateness of social services furnished to the patient population.
Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements
Required: Master's degree in social work (MSW), counseling or marriage & family therapy.
Required: Two (2) years clinical social work experience.
Required: American Heart Association (AHA) BLS
Required: Licensed in 1 of the following : LCSW, LMFT, LPC or LMSW
Handle with Care (HWC) certification required within 30 days from start date
