This is a 13 week seasonal position working full time in the progressive care (step down) unit at Northwest Medical Center. Dynamic, high acuity, progressive care unit with wide variety of experience opportunities. This increased surveillance unit offers a 1:4 nurse to patient ratio while providing high quality care to our patients. Nurses can develop their skill set by providing for patients that include: post cardiac surgery and Cath Lab procedures, alcohol withdrawal, heart and respiratory failure, dysrhythmias, rattlesnake bites, hypo/hypertension, requiring medication drips, and many more.
