In compliance with applicable State regulatory authorities, COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory for all MSK staff. Staff are considered fully vaccinated upon completion of a primary vaccination series for COVID-19 (i.e., one dose of a single dose vaccine or a final dose of a multi-dose vaccine series). Exceptions from the COVID-19 vaccine requirement are permitted for those who request and receive an approved medical or fully remote exemption. Requests for medical exemption can take up to two weeks to review. Vaccination or an approved medical exemption is required to start work.

Note: Individuals are eligible to receive a COVID-19 booster two months after completion of a primary vaccination series for COVID-19. Because vaccine-induced immunity can wane over time, MSK continues to strongly urge all staff to get a COVID-19 booster as soon as they become eligible to maintain their protective immunity for a longer period.

Job Description

The Immigrant Health and Cancer Disparities (IHCD) Service within the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences is seeking a Clinical Research Supervisor (CRS)! We are conducting groundbreaking, community-engaged research to address cancer disparities and socioeconomic determinants of health outcomes among immigrant and other underserved populations. Our projects include the Taxi Network, FOOD (Food to Overcome Outcomes Disparities), the Integrated Cancer Care Access Network, the Mexican Consulate Ventanilla de Salud partnership and various health initiatives including Arabic, South Asian, and Chinese Health Initiatives. Linguistic and cultural responsiveness overarch all of our programs.

We have an exciting opportunity for hybrid work and leadership opportunity for our growing clinical research team! Proficiency in Bengali, French or Spanish is helpful.

You are:

• A good decision-maker, with shown success at making timely decisions.
• An effective communicator, capable of resolving how best to reach different audiences.
• Able to work in an environment that may include complex, sometimes contradictory information.
• Adept at planning and prioritizing work to meet commitments.
• Knowledgeable of the regulations pertaining to human subject protection and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

You will:

• Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day activities of Clinical Research Coordinators (CRCs).
• Lead all aspects of research operations, ensuring the highest quality patient-centric care
• Oversee data management, clinic management, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with key partners (internal and external) in the development and ongoing management of trials and projects.

You need:

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience, with at least 2 years of experience in high volume clinical trials.
• Fluency in Spanish, French or Bengali.
• Supervisory experience (preferred).
