Atlantic Health System is seeking a per-diem Massage Therapist for the Corporate Health Services department at Morristown Medical Center to work varied hours, including weekends required by department.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

• Chair massage (main responsibility; 10-, 15-, or 20- minute sessions)
• Evaluate clients regarding pain and stress areas, guide clients through service offerings and determine what massage is most appropriate, and listen for feedback regarding applied technique for adjustments that best fit each client
• Health and wellness education/public speaking (some)
• Interpersonal communication commensurate to the corporate climate
• Maintain cleanliness and basic massage therapy hygiene and COVID-19 protocol practices between clients
• Maintain client confidentiality
• Maintain records and client notes as requested
• Schedule future massage appointments
• Suggest future massage appointments with Atlantic Corporate Health or referral to Camber Centers for Well-Being
• Table massage (10-, 20- or 30- minute sessions)
• Take part in regular hospital trainings and meetings
• Travel/On-site/Mobile capabilities (employer service area is one hour radius of Morristown, NJ)

Minimum Education:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent Required

Minimum Experience:

• 1+ years of massage therapy experience preferred
• Integrative massage therapy highly preferred
• Lymphatic drainage massage knowledge and experience a plus
• Basic computer skills

License/Certification:

• Current National and/or State massage therapy license
• Current driver's license
